Sonya has an amazing ability to engage with trade partners at all levels, from frontline staff to operations and products right up to management level. She has maintained an excellent relationship with the key inbound operators and contacts with the various tourism organisations. 

Sonya is willing to put in the long hours, taking on “punishing” travel schedule (up to 5 weeks at one-go) while yet maintaining her professional follow-up on daily requests and action items. 

I have known Sonya Mroz for nearly 2 decades. I met her when she first started with Tweed Endeavour Cruises back in the late 1990s. Since then, she has grown from strength to strength, covering a diverse range of tourism products – from Lady Elliot Island (a “hidden gem”  to the iconic Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (2013-16) before joining Minor Hotels. 

Sonya played an important role in growing the awareness and interest in Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Minor Hotels in India & Southeast markets.  

She is a highly valued staff, a go-getter and always working hard for the organisation she is with. Wishing her all the very best as she embark on an exciting new venture!
