Sonya Mroz - Director
Sonya is the owner of Aspect Tourism and has over 20 years’ experience within the tourism industry with a strong focus on the inbound sector across both Eastern and Western markets. Sonya displays a diverse portfolio specialising in attractions, hotels and destination marketing to a network that literally spans the globe.
Throughout her career, she has occupied roles with Visit Sunshine Coast, Minor Hotels, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort and Tweed Eco Cruises and held voluntary board positions with the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC), Young ATEC, Japan Tourism Gold Coast and Tweed Tourism.
Sarah Colgate
Sarah Colgate is passionate about helping tourism businesses thrive with targeted sales and marketing strategies.
With more than 20 years of experience in the tourism industry from wholesale and retail travel, leisure and corporate hotels, business events and as a tourism operator, Sarah has a deep understanding of how to build a strong tourism business that meets the market and secures sales.
Sarah currently sits in the Experience Gold Coast Tourism Advisory Board and is the Deputy President for the Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce.
"I am incredibly passionate about the tourism industry. I know it sounds cliché, but I honestly believe that if you love your job & what you do, you will never work a day in your life. I have been so fortunate to work for companies highlighting fantastic experiential activities – who wouldn’t enjoy snorkelling with turtles on the Great Barrier Reef, cruising our pristine coastal waterways or cuddling a koala at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary!
Of course, my role in the accommodation sector broadened my knowledge further on an International scale as Minor Hotels is the 8th largest hotel chain in the world. In 2019, Aspect Tourism was launched and I am thrilled to be representing companies such as Arise Hotels, Misty View Cottages, Hot Air Balloon, Pineapple Tours, Jet Ski Safaris, Tweed Eco Cruises, Kindred Events, Southern Star Tours, Tweed Harbour Motor Inn, Sydney Harbour Boat Tours, The Breakers Absolute Beachfront Apartments, The Regent Apartments and the AFS Group."
